Graham Harvey was born in Musselburgh in 1961 and began his career with Ormiston Primrose before joining Hibernian in 1982.
He made a scoring debut for the club under the management of Pat Stanton in a 2-0 victory over Morton. Over three seasons with Hibs, Graham made 36 appearances across all competitions and scored five goals before moving to Dundee in exchange for Colin Harris.

It was at Dundee where Graham had the most successful spell of his career scoring 38 goals in 125 appearances.
Graham left the club in 1989 and went onto play for Airdrieonians before moving to Hong Kong to sign for Instant-Dict FC who were very successful in the 1990s in the top-tier First Division. He returned to Scotland in 1995 and signed for Livingston where he stayed until 1998 before ending his career with Bonnyrigg Rose.
