On the 15th of October 2010 in association with the Hibernian Historical Trust, the Hibernian Former Players Association and the Hibernian Supporters Trust, Hibernian Football Club held its inaugural Hall of Fame Dinner officially recognising, celebrating and commemorating the players, managers and other worthy individuals who have made Hibernian FC what it is today.
After much debate, a selection of figures from Hibernian's past and present were nominated and inducted into the Hall of Fame at the first annual gala dinner event, held at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange.
As well as lending its support and expertise to the event, the Trust is setting up a permanent Hall of Fame exhibition at Easter Road Stadium within the Player's Lounge.
Proceeds from the event were split between the Trust and the Hibernian Community Foundation.
