Hibernian became the first Scottish team to tour Europe after the Second World War when they embarked on a visit to Czechoslovakia in 1946.

June 1946 saw Hibs play 4 games, against Sparta Prague (3-1), Slavia Prague (3-2), Brno (1-3) and Vitkovice (7-1).
